Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026.

This is the privacy policy for cybertools.yanivhaliwa.com, a free reference site operated by Yaniv Haliwa as an individual. The short version: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and nothing is collected unless you choose to send a message.

What is collected

Browsing and searching collect nothing about you. Searching the tools runs against a public database and is not associated with any identity. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no tag manager and no session recording.

If you submit the contact form, three fields are collected because you typed them: your name, your email address and your message. They are used solely to receive and reply to your message. They are never sold, rented, published or used for marketing.

Abuse prevention

To stop automated abuse of the public API, the site records the IP address of API requests in a short-lived rate-limit table, along with a timestamp. Records older than ten minutes are deleted automatically. This data is used only to enforce the request limit — it is not profiled, not linked to searches, and not used to identify anyone. The site may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check that does not track users across sites.

Infrastructure and processors

Retention

Contact messages live in an ordinary email mailbox for as long as the correspondence is relevant, then are deleted. Rate-limit records expire after ten minutes. The site keeps no database of visitors, searches or submissions.

Your rights

If you have sent a message and want it deleted, or want to know what is held, ask via the contact form and it will be actioned. Depending on where you live you may have rights under the GDPR or similar law to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
